Visit Anchorage and their Alaska state tourism partners were looking for a new and unique way to showcase their visiting suppliers through a culinary focused informative series of events in Sydney, Melbourne & Auckland.
The Canuckiwi team worked with the key stakeholders to create our Alaska Night’s which included the selection of Alaska inspired venues, the creation of the Alaska Night passport encouraging VIP’s and dignitaries to make their way around the venue to meet and interact with Alaskan suppliers, and at each Alaska station guests were treated to information and also a “taste of Alaska” through a special Vodka tasting distilled from across Alaska. From Salmon to Northern lights to Birch Vodka throughout the evening each taster was paired with food from the region.
The evening concluded by allowing all those VIPs that went through and visited with all Alaska suppliers the opportunity to win a prize draw for a trip to Alaska.
