New Visitors Centre at Cedar Breaks National Monument
Since 1972, park staff has been answering guest questions in a cabin that is barely 650 square feet. Through the significant efforts of Iron County, the National Park Service, the Zion Forever Project, and other stakeholders construction of a new Visitor Education Centre will begin in 2021. In the words of Executive Director for Visit Cedar City · Brian Head, Maria Twitchell, “the new centre will vastly improve the overall visitor experience and encourage more in-depth exploration of the monument by visitors and locals as well.”
Brian Head Resort Under New Ownership
In early November 2019 Brian Head Resort was purchased by Mountain Capital Partners. Managing partner James Coleman cited the family friendly vibe and proximity to Southern Utah’s famous red cliffs and national parks as features that made Brian Head an attractive resort. Through this purchase pass holders at Brian Head Resort can also enjoy discounts and reciprocal access to several other resorts in the west. Planned upgrades and improvements will be announced in 2021.

Utah Shakespeare Festival 2021 Season
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the 2021 season promises to be one unlike any other. Dedicated to founder, Fred C. Adams, it will be a magnificent experience.
The 2021 Season will feature eight plays in three theatres, plus all the extra “Festival Experience” traditions and activities guests have come to love. Enjoy the free Greenshow, backstage tours, Repertory Magic, play orientations, seminars and more before sitting down for a stunning performance. The season will run from June 21 through October 9.
