Travel Nevada reintroduces the Silver State to Australian and New Zealand travellers
Announcement of in-market representation signifies importance of region to Nevada
9 March 2022: After briefly pausing their in-market presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets due to the global pandemic, Travel Nevada is back and excited to re-engage with Aussie and Kiwi travellers.
As international flights resume, Travel Nevada encourages travellers to reignite their passion for travel and adventure by exploring the wide-open spaces and natural beauty that the state offers in abundance.
Travel Nevada Regional Director – Australia & New Zealand, Corey Marshall said the pandemic has posed unprecedented challenges to the tourism industry and has undoubtably reshaped the travel landscape.
“COVID has been incredibly challenging to navigate, but after our short hiatus we are thrilled to welcome Nevada back to the Australian and New Zealand markets, and excited to re-introduce the Silver State to wanderlust seekers looking for transformative travel experiences,” Mr Marshall said.
“Departing from Harry Reid International Airport (Las Vegas) or Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Nevada’s ten branded road trip itineraries offer incredible diversity for that first trip back to the USA. A particular favourite tour is the “Ultimate Nevada Road Trip of the Elite Series” newly created by Ride The World Motorcycles Tours.
In Nevada it is often said that “taking the road less travelled” isn’t just an idea, it’s practically a guarantee and we are so excited to help Aussie & Kiwi travellers experience this first-hand,” he said.
To oversee the implementation of Travel Nevada’s media strategy for the Australian and NEw Zealand market, Canuckiwi has appointed Natalie Brown (Sydney-based) as Media Director – Australia & New Zealand. More information about Ms Brown may be found online at www.canuckiwi.com/natalie-brown/.
