The Utah Office of Tourism hosted top media from Australia, New Zealand and Canada on a Secret Side of Sundance Fam trip. Giving these media a taste of the high life and getting to view multiple films at the world famous Film Festival as well an opportunity for some celebrity spotting. Media were also shown the many amazing sites of Salt Lake City in the Winter time, experienced a Utah Jazz Basketball Game including a special meet and greet with Aussie NBA Star Joe Ingles and hit the slopes of Powder Mountain near Ogden, UT to try their hand at world famous cat – skiing.
The trip also saw the group tour through Southern Utah with a film location winter focused itinerary visiting Moab, Monument Valley, Kanab and Brian Head. The hosted travel editors hiked to Delicate Arch and Dead Horse Point State Park and even drove themselves in a You Drive ATV trip of Hells Backbone out of Moab. They were fortunate to also experience the full Gouldings Monument Valley tour, Hiked Peekaboo Canyon out of Kanab and snowmobiled themselves to Cedar Breaks National Monument out of Brian Head.
