For three years in a row, Canuckiwi partnered with Delta Airlines and Virgin Australia to offer retail agents an opportunity to experience the U.S. The Sell Your Way to the USA program was launched across Australia and New Zealand at the Visit USA expos in February each independent year. At each event, flyers were handed out to agents at partner booths. In addition, the incentive was mentioned during on stage presentations. Throughout the incentive period, trade marketing was completed to keep the program top of mind for agents.
Agents were awarded 1 point for a North American return flight, with an extra point if the PNR included one of the partner gateways – Las Vegas, Anchorage, Boston, and Salt Lake City. Additional points were allocated for land package to one of the 4 partner states. This points-based system encouraged agents to switch sell destinations. At the end of the incentive period, 12 top performing agents were given the opportunity to travel to the U.S. to experience the destinations for themselves.
Agents got to experience the states of Utah (Including the Mighty 5), Nevada beyond the Las Vegas Strip, the wild outdoors of Anchorage and South Central Alaska or experience a road trip in New England. – 4 Hosted FAMS with 12 retail agents. Each year a new hashtag was created for each FAM to encourage agents to document their trips and also so partners could follow along.
