Grapevine, Texas – Chicken N Pickle, the world’s premier pickleball restaurant and entertainment destination, is set to open its second North Texas location in Grapevine in January, 2023. This is the third Texas location for the festive concept that was born in Kansas City and has been growing throughout the country. Chicken N Pickle, a place synonymous with “fun, food, friendship and community,” is rapidly becoming a familiar part of the Texas landscape.
Chicken N Pickle Grapevine, a unique indoor-outdoor “eatertainment” complex, will feature 12 year-round pickleball courts, lawn games, a rooftop bar and a casual, chef-driven restaurant that offers a variety of delicious dishes. Additional indoor and outdoor staging areas such as the ‘Be Amazing’ Room and Bier Gardens will be available for private event spaces which can accommodate more than 2,000 guests. The company is hiring more than 200 locals to operate this new location.
On the menu, a range of delicious chicken dishes will be available to please every palate, along with pork and grass-fed beef sandwiches, salads, and a variety of munchies. Some menu favorites include dishes such as NKC (North Kansas City) Hot Chicken Sandwich and spicy slaw, and the Chicken + Rib Combo which features mango habanero chutney and honey brew BBQ sauces. The menu also includes a Seasonal Harvest salad with fresh Tuscan kale and a citrus vinaigrette, with sides such as signature hand-cut fries, tasty tots, street corn, and more.
“We proudly source from local farmers, ranchers and artisans to bring our customers the freshest, most flavorful, additive-free food possible,” said Alex Staab, Director of Culinary.
Pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America, is most popularly played as doubles (2v2) on a court half the size of a tennis court with an oversized ping pong paddle and a perforated polymer ball similar to a wiffle ball. The rules are a mix of tennis and ping pong and are easy and fun for all ages to play together. The Grapevine location will offer wheelchair pickleball with two sports chairs available for guests to reserve.
