August 18th 2021 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Grapevine, Texas holds virtual Scavenger hunt for the travel trade in Australia and New Zealand.
With Australia and New Zealand both managing “lock down” situations this week it was a breath of fresh air when Heather Egan, Director of International Sales for Grapevine, Texas to bring a bit of fun to Aussie and Kiwi agents this afternoon. (August 18th).
In finding new and creative ways to educate our trade partners we brought to life an “in your home” Grapevine Scavenger Hunt. Agents whom participated were provided with items (popcorn, a mustard yellow item, a golf ball, a piece of art, a luggage tag and many more which they had one minute to bring back to their desk and share with the Grapevine, team. Heather then outlined the reason for bringing the item back as it related to Grapevine… as an example the proximity to the airport at DFW (luggage tag) to Grapevine, Texas or Grapevine’s Dallas Cowboy’s themed golf course being the reason for the golf ball.
We had a total of 35 agents and a few of their home studied children joined us for the half an hour hunt! Through a lucky draw process at the end of the webinar Kirsten Jakubassa from Flight Centre Sydney was our scavenger hunt winner and will be sent her prize pack including a bottle of wine from an Australian wine maker that attended Grapevine, GrapeFEST of Visit Grapevine.
