With the launch of the OSE (Only Slightly Exaggerated) campaign by Travel Oregon in 2018, Canuckiwi utilised this as our base theme for Travel Oregon’s 2019 sales mission across Australia and New Zealand.
Oregon animated their state. In early 2019 Travel Oregon took the campaign to the next level with more stunning animation and only slight exaggerations of the wonder you’ll find in Oregon. Like grey whales migrating through the sky, sea-stack creatures controlling the sunrise and tree spirits soaking in volcanic hot springs.
We integrated this themed campaign to bring Oregon to life to our travel trade & media down under. With a series of VIP travel trade and media events in Auckland and Sydney we made this theme come to life. With live & interactive fishing ponds, mini hot air balloons, toad stools, Oregon inspired cocktails and a photo booth to remember the evening by.
Travel Oregon’s event in Auckland and Sydney saw Travel Oregon invite guests (travel trade, media and airline partners) to don their own Oregon inspired “Slightly Exaggerated” costume, bring their happier state of well-being and dream about their next magical visit to Oregon for themselves or their customers. Of course there were prizes up for grabs for the best dresses on the night and an airline sponsorship by United Airlines.
