Canuckiwi negotiated an exclusive integrated destination partnership with Melbourne Ironman70.3/ Ironman Oceania that provided the State of Utah with massive exposure to the Australian database of Ironman through a multi-faceted partnership. With St. George, Utah hosting 3 World Championship events in the previous 18 months leading up to this partnership it was a natural fit to keep Utah as a travel & training destination top of mind with aspiring athletes and their families.
The partnership included both pre and post event edm messaging, social posts on Ironman channels, advertisements in the athlete guides, blog posts highlighting Utah as a travel destination, a contest mechanic including Utah passport and trivia question and answers, Life Elevated Utah guides inserted in every athlete racepack, on course branding and messaging and a major finish line activation marquee including social photography brought to you in partnership with Social Exposure.
We integrated the Ironman 70.3 Melbourne 2022 partnership within the 2022 Utah Office of Tourism annual sales mission that allowed a number of key Utah Office of Tourism regional DMO partners to engage with the activation while they were in market.
